English version
In broad daylight in the center of Santos! Absolutely unimaginable, a real scary story!
In Brazil
During my stay in Brazil, I heard a very unbelievable story from my interpreter.
While he was driving in the city for work, the traffic light turned red, so he stopped the car.
Then, I heard a tap on the passenger side window, so I opened the window.
When he opened the window, he was suddenly confronted with a pistol and threatened to give up his money. He said that he was threatened.
For a moment, I couldn’t move, but I gave him some coins in my pocket.
I gave him some coins in my pocket and he pulled me out immediately.
I told him that I was not in any trouble.
He had experienced this many times before, when he was stopped at a traffic light and
a begging child stuck out his hand and asked him for money.
He said that he had experienced it several times before.
He said he never dreamed that he would encounter a “pistol robbery” in broad daylight
in the city of Sao Paulo.
This person has lived in Brazil for more than 10 years and belongs to a Japanese Brazilian
Association.
I really don’t want to think badly of Brazil, and I don’t want to say it, but…
I don’t really want to think badly of Brazil, and I don’t want to say anything about it,
but it’s really disgusting to see them like this! He said.
“It reminds me of peaceful Japan!” I said.
- An acquaintance of mine was in Brazil when he went to watch a game of a local soccer club.
Of course, it was a professional team game.
The local club won overwhelming victory and the away club lost big, so immediately
after the game, there was a crowd of supporters of both teams in the stadium.
The local club won overwhelming victory and the away club lost big, so immediately after
the game, a group of supporters of both teams were in a state of excitement.
My acquaintances said, “It’s just like a real game in Brazil! They seemed to think, “Crazy, crazy?
They seemed to think so.
But later, when a group of supporters went out of the stadium and entered the public road,
they became a mob.
Cars were vandalized, fistfights broke out, and mayhem ensued.
My acquaintance was watching the commotion from a distance, wondering what would happen.
He said he was watching anxiously from afar.
I heard that there was movement soon.
He said that the cavalry of the local police, which he had never seen in Japan, came out
to “kick the rioters to the ground and calm them down.
I was told that they were trying to “kick out the rioters and calm them down.
Soccer fans in the real world are really “too hot! (Sweat)
- Here’s another story from the interpreter.
I was talking about Rio de Janeiro, the host city of the last Olypara Games (2016).
It is known as a “bright and cheerful international tourist destination” famous for
the Rio Carnival.
However, this city also has its “lights and shadows”.
This big city is bright, cheerful, and friendly during the day.
But at night, it is really dangerous.
If you stop at a traffic light, a group of people with rocks and clubs will attack you.
But at night it is really dangerous.
When I had time, I was thinking that I would love to visit Rio de Janeiro,
but now I have changed my mind.
However, I heard that security has improved a bit since the Oly-pala was held.
I think this is the “good legacy” left by the Oly-pala.
“I pray that it will continue for a long time.
Thanks for the good article, I hope you continue to work as well.
